Professor Henry Ma is the Professor Director of Neurology Department and head of stroke unit at Monash Health which is the largest healthcare network in Victoria, Australia. He is a professor at the department of medicine of Monash University. He was the principal coordinator for the EXTEND trial which was published in the New England Journal of Medicine and changed the guidelines in Europe and Australia regarding extending the thrombolysis time window. He was involved in EXTEND IA, EXTEND IA TNK and DIRECT SAFE studies. His main research interest is large clinical trials, advanced neuroimaging, acute stroke treatment and service implementation research. He was the past-president of Australasia Stroke Academy and past co-chair of Australasian Stroke Trial Network.

Dr. Muzharul Mannan is the Training Coordinator of Institute of Paediatric Neurodisorders and
Autism (IPNA) in BSMMU and Consultant Neurologist at Department of Neurology in
BSMMU. He was elected as the Secretary of Regional Executive committee of International
Bureau of Epilepsy (IBE) for 2021-2025. He was also appointed as a Council Member of the
Asia Pacific Stroke Organization for 2019-2021.Over the years, he has been involved with
several organization and platforms which promote awareness on Neurodevelopmental
disabilities and through dedication and hard work has established his credentials as a
relentless and leading advocate for NDDs, Epilepsy and Stroke not only in Bangladesh but
globally too.
Dr. Mannan was also instrumental in establishing the first government funded center providing
research and training on neurodevelopmental disorders at the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib
Medical University in Dhaka named Center for Neurodevelopment and Autism in Children
(CNAC). Join Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) as Consultant
Neurologist at Department of Neurology and as Training Coordinator at Centre for
Neurodevelopment and Autism in Children (CNAC) in 2009. CNAC became the Institute of
Paediatric Neurodisorder and Autism (IPNA), BSMMU on 2015. He also helped in the
formation of the Parent Forum for the Differently Able which has nearly 800 parent membership throughout Bangladesh and has become an effective self-advocacy group which conducts awareness, empowerment and parent-trainings initiatives. He was the part of the organizing team of the largest and most high profile conference ever held for a mental health condition on July 25th 2011 in Dhaka Bangladesh to launch the Global Autism Public Health Initiative (GAPH I) and the South Asian Autism Network (SAAN). Dr. M Mannan born in 1970 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Studied at University Laboratory School and College, Dhaka, and passed SSC and HSC. He went to Hungary with a government scholarship to study Medicine at Semmelweis Medical University, Budapest. After graduation and internship at Semmelweis Medical University, he returned to Bangladesh in 1998 and started his postgraduate training in Bangladesh. He trained in Internal Medicine and Neurology. He worked as a Neurologist for five years before getting a fellowship in Epilepsy as an HSDP Fellow at National Neuroscience Institute, Singapore, from 2003-2004. Dr. Mannan had done his Diploma in Clinical Neurology at the National Institute of Neurology, Queens Square, London, the UK, in 2005. Worked as the Head of Medical Division and Consultant Neurologist at Centre for Rehabilitation of the Paralyzed (CRP), Dhaka, Bangladesh, from 2006-2009. Joined Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) as a Consultant Neurologist at the Department of Neurology and as a Training Coordinator at the Centre for Neurodevelopment and Autism in Children (CNAC) in 2009. CNAC became the Institute of Paediatric Neuro disorder and Autism (IPNA), BSMMU, on 2015. He has several scientific papers and associated with different research topics in Epilepsy, Stroke and Autism. He is the Joint Scientific Secretary (International affairs) of the Society of Neurologist of Bangladesh, founder member and Board of Trustees of Shuchona Foundation, working as the Managing Director and Senior Consultant Neurologist of Neurology Foundation Hospital, Dhaka since 1999. He is also the Council Member of the Asia Pacific Stroke Organization (APSO). His contribution in the field of Stroke, Epilepsy and Autism is well known nationally and internationally. -

Ming-Chyi Pai is professor of neurology and gerontology at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU). He heads Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (ADRC) at NCKU Hospital and is a principal investigator of series of projects on spatial navigation ability of people with cognitive impairment, and many multi-center, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trials involving patients with AD or related dementias.

Professor Udaya Ranawaka is Professor in Neurology at the University of Kelaniya, and Honorary Consultant Neurologist and Head of the Stroke Unit at the Colombo North Teaching Hospital, Ragama, Sri Lanka. He is a Fellow of the Ceylon College of Physicians, Royal College of Physicians of London, American Stroke Association and the American Academy of Neurology.
He is a Past President of the National Stroke Association of Sri Lanka, Association of Sri Lankan Neurologists and the Ceylon College of Physicians. He is the Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Clinical Trials Registry and is a Member of the Advisory Group of the International Clinical Trials Registry Platform, World Health Organisation. He is the National Coordinator of the SITS International Stroke Registry Network for Sri Lanka, and is a member of the CME Committee of the Asia Pacific Stroke Organisation.
His main research interests include stroke, CNS infections, tropical neurology and clinical trial registration. He has been a National Coordinator/Principal Investigator in several international clinical trials and research collaborations on stroke. He has won over 30 national and international research awards.

Professor Anna Ranta is a Wellington New Zealand based academic stroke neurologist whose research focuses on translational stroke research to optimise stroke care quality and access with a strong emphasis on addressing health inequities. Her work to date has resulted in 200+ peer reviewed publications. She has led several large research programmes and also collaborates widely with others across Australasia and globally. She is the Head of Department of Medicine at University of Otago, Wellington, leads the New Zealand National Stroke Registry, and co-leads the New Zealand National Stroke Clot Retrieval Service Improvement Programme via a Ministry of Health position. Muhammad Hibatullah Romli did his PhD at the University of Sydney, Australia. He also holds a Master of Medical Education from the University of Malaya in Malaysia, as well as a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Brunel University London in the United Kingdom. He received his undergraduate training for a Bachelor and a Diploma in occupational therapy at Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia. He is currently a senior lecturer at the University of Putra Malaysia and an affiliate researcher with the Malaysian Research Institute on Ageing (MyAgeing). He has published over 30 articles in high-impact journals, reviewed for various reputable national and international journals, and has presented at many academic and professional conferences. He has secured several institutional and national grants, some on stroke research. His expertise is in review designs, experimental designs, patient teaching and education, as well as in professional practise and measurement tools. He has certification in the Lifestyle Redesign® program, home modification, and is an IBCCES Board-Certified Telepractice Specialist. He is actively conducting research related to rehabilitation. For example, he was involved in the study of Exergame using the Xbox 360 Kinect and using telehealth as a medium for service delivery. He has experience as a therapist in community work and provides health education on rehabilitation in community centers.

He established the Neurosonology Program at the University of Alberta and helped establishing the stroke program and Tel stroke and mobile stroke ambulance at University of Alberta Edmonton, Alberta Canada.
He did help in establishing the stroke program and he built the Neurosonology program in Hamad Medical corporation from 2016 to 2020. He led the neurology and stroke program in 2019. Currently, he is the medical director of west GTA stroke program and neurology lead at the Trillium Hospital University of Toronto Mississauga Ontario Canada.
He holds a master’s degree in clinical epidemiology and has more than 140 publications in peer reviewed journal and four book chapters.
